Audio: Proximity
Proximity

This is perhaps the most important rule of audio. It simply means getting your microphone or sound recording device as close to the sound source as possible. The closer you get the device or microphone the cleaner your sound will be. The cost of your sound equipment doesn’t always mean you will capture good audio. It’s possible to get very cheap microphones to sound much better than expensive ones IF you follow the rule of proximity.

So remember to get your microphone or your recording device as close as you can to the sound source and you’ll always get good quality clean audio for your productions.
